Prayer of Thanksgiving. Alhamdolillahi-rabbil-alimeen-hamdan- yuwaafi-ni'amahu-wa-yukaafiu - mazeedah. Praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, with a praise that is adequate to His favours and equal to His increase. |
Prayer for protection against evil.
The Prophet a.s said : "He who repeats this thrice at nightfall, no harmful thing shall affect him that night."
Awoozu-bi-kalimaatillahit-taamaati-min-sharra-ma-khalaq.
I take refuge in the complete words of Allah from the evil in what He has created.
Prayer for protection against all harm and disease.
The Prophet a.s said: "He who says this three times in the evening is safe from sudden afflictions until morning, and he who says it thrice in the morning is safe from sudden afflictions until evening."
Bismillah-hillazi-la-yadurru-ma'a-ismihi-shayyan-fil-ardi-wa-la-fis-samaa'i-wa-huwwas- sam'i-ul-aleem.
In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven can harm. He is the Hearer, the Knower.
Prayer of Thanksgiving.

Prayer for Faith.
The Prophet a.s said, "He who repeats this every morning and evening, certainly Allah will satisfy him, and I shall be responsible for taking his hand until I lead him into the Garden."
Radaitu-billahi-rabban-wa-bil-islaami-deenan-wa-bi-sayyidina-Muhammadin- sallallahu-alaihi-wasallam-nabiyyan-wa-rasoola.
I am content with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with our master Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, as Prophet and Messenger.
Salutation on the Prophet, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him.
The Prophet a.s said, "He who invokes blessings on me once, Allah will bless him ten times, ten of his sins will be remitted, and he will be raised ten degrees. The one who will be nearest to me on the day of resurrection will be the one who invoked most blessings on me."
Allahumma-salle-ala-sayyidina-Muhammadin-wa-ala-aalihi-wa-sahbihi-wasallam.
O' Allah! Bless our master Muhammad, his family and companions, and give them peace.
Prayer for Well-being.
Allahumma-inni-asa'lukal-afwa-wal-aafiyah-wal-mu'aafa-daaima-fi-deeni -wa-dunyaaya-wa-ahli-wa-maali.
O' Allah! I seek of you pardon, well-being, and constant safety in my religion, worldly life, family, and possessions.
Prayer for invoking special protection for oneself.
Allahumma'hfazni-mim-bayni-yadayya-wa-min-khalfi-wa'an-yamini-wa'an-shimaali -wa-min-fawqi-wa-awoozo-bi-azamatika-an-ughtaala-min-tahti.
O' Allah! Protect me from [the evil that comes from] in front of me, from behind my back, my right, my left, and from above me and I take refuge in Your Greatness from unexpected harm from below me.
The Prophet's a.s Prayer for Light.
Allahumma-j'al-fi-qalbi-nuran-wa-fi-basri-nuran-wa-fi-sam'i-nuran-wa-an-yamini-nuran- wa-an-yasaari-nuran-wa-fawqi-nuran-wa-tahti-nuran-wa-amaami-nuran-wa-khalfi-nuran- wa-j'al-li-nuran-wa-fi-lisaani-nuran-wa-'asabi-nuran-wa-lahmi-nuran-wa-dami-nuran- wa-sha'ri-nuran-wa-bashari-nuran-wa-j'al-fi-nafsi-nuran-wa-a'zim-li-nuran-allahumma- 'atini-nuran.
O Allah! Make light in my heart, light in my eye, light in my ear, light on my right, light on my left, light above me, light beneath me, light before me, light behind me; and make for me light. Light in my tongue, light in my sinews, light in my flesh, light in my blood, light in my hair, light in my body, light in my soul, and magnify my light for me. O God bestow Light upon me.
